Double Crossed

Roberta Kray is a star in the genre of gritty East End drama. Her plots race along, with believable, love-or-hate characters and an overall feeling of time-travelling back to the era she’s writing about – in this case the late fifties. In Double Crossed we meet Liv, who has grown up the daughter of a murderer and is trying to make her way in the world without getting involved with gangsters – but unfortunately doesn’t succeed. However, resourceful Liv hopes to find her way out of their clutches somehow . . .
