Twelve Secrets

Twelve Secrets is a thriller I defy anyone not to gobble up in one big gulp. When I got the manuscript on submission I read it in a single afternoon. I’ve now read it more times than I can count, and I’m still surprised by twists I had forgotten, moments that literally take my breath away.

If you’re a fan of TV dramas like Broadchurch and Line of Duty, where each episode leaves you screaming ‘BUT WHAT HAPPENS NOW?’ at the screen, then this is the book for you.

It follows Ben, an investigative journalist, who must confront the trauma of his brother’s murder twenty years before when a copycat killing sheds new light on his death. He realises that everyone in his tight-knit hometown knew more than they let on at the time and that everyone has secrets they’re determined to keep hidden. Divided into twelve parts, each section ends with a revelation that upturns everything you’ve learnt so far and will have you racing through the chapters to get to the novel’s breathless conclusion. At Little, Brown we are a team who between us have read thousands of crime novels, so we like to think we’re pretty smart at working out whodunnit, but not one of us guessed the ending of this one.

With endorsements from the biggest names in crime, including Lisa Jewell, Shari Lapena and Lee Child, I can guarantee this is going to be huge!
