For the first time ever, we will be unlocking The Crime Vault at the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival this July.

Taking place in The Library at The Swan Hotel on Saturday 20th, the vault will be unlocked at 10am by bestselling author Val McDermid and throughout the day various Little,Brown authors will visit the room for talks and signings. As well as an in conversation event between Alex Marwood (The Poison Garden) and Vanessa Savage (The Woman in the Dark), the line-up includes signings with Val McDermid, Mark Billingham, Clare Mackintosh, MW Craven, Chris Brookmyre and Mark Griffin. Little,Brown will also be launching their lead crime debut of 2020, Seven Lies, by Elizabeth Kay with a special edition proof giveaway.

There will also be a ‘cosy’ crime corner giving festival goers the chance to relax and listen to some brilliantly chilling audiobook extracts, alongside exclusive freebies and giveaways.

Keep an eye out on our Twitter and Facebook throughout the day and follow #TheCrimeVault.
